This amazing family trio are a tremendous help to all shows. They are always active in helping whether it be set up, tear down, providing cages, stewarding, clerking, or catering. Any time we're getting ready for a show - we look at the entry list and hope that the Smith/Clee clan is coming. The Northwest is so lucky to have this super positive and talented family as longtime members.

Julie successfully founded two new TICA clubs and organized events at two brand-new venues. She and her club delivered a successful Regional Show and Awards Banquet, followed by another show in Seaside, Oregon. Julie generously dedicates countless hours to supporting other clubs and show committees throughout the region. Whether assisting with planning, troubleshooting challenges, or volunteering wherever needed, she is always willing to lend a hand. Her answer is almost always "yes," even while balancing multiple responsibilities of her own. She is truly deserving of recognition as Member of the Year

Kimberly Reinbrecht

Kim Reinbrechht

Vote

One of the most organized people in the Northwest has to be Kimberly Reinbrecht. Along with being a generous donor to pretty much every show she attends, she steps up when asked to clerk, master clerk, organize and help. She organized one of the best Regional Banquet's we've seen in a long time at the Idaho Show and is on track to organize yet another winner of a Regional Banquet in Portland. The Northwest needs people like Kim who are reliable, proactive, and in charge. You know any time you ask of Kimberly, she will come through, on time, and her work will be above average. A recognized positive influence in our region.

Peggy Smith

Peggy Smith was also nominated twice! (Nomination 1)Peggy Smith has been a member of TICA for many years with her beautiful Sphynx and Family. She has worked tirelessly behind the scenes for dozens and dozens of shows over the year. She's run catering numerous times, helped with set up and tear down. When she saw a shortage of quality cages, she went out and purchased judging cages with her own money and routinely brings them to support shows. And she does this silently! She doesn't ask for fanfare, she just rolls up her sleeves and helps. As a registered PA she has also been the first to help out when there is a bite, scratch, trip or anything else that requires her expertise. She is the picture of a Member of the Year - who does it because she cares.
(Nomination 2) Peggy helped me with my swollen face At a cat show when I was bitten by an insect.

Sportsman of the Year Nominees

Mary Gallagher

Mary Gallagher

Vote

Mary Gallagher and her beautiful cats have been around the show hall for years. It was great seeing her so active in show management this year. We've seen her helping with many raffles, helping with set up and tear down, all while keeping a smile on her face. I've never hesitated to send a new exhibitor her way to ask a question because I know the answer will be polite, positive, and helpful. Let's be honest, all regions have their grouches - which is why we're lucky to have people like Mary, with her positive attitude, to balance them out!

Michele Lee

Michele has been a loyal and positive member of TICA for many years. Her presence is always positive and she always has a smile on her face. I've seen her step up and show others cats many many times. Where she can, she will also help with the shows. She's a tribute to strength and positivity, what we love in a sportsman of the year.

Sarah Mercer

Sarah is a ray of light at our shows. Always willing to help in any way needed - whether helping set up, tear down, run drinks to rings, decorate with her Mom, or help a new exhibitor learn the ropes, she is there with a smile and makes it fun at the same time.

Natasha Baggett

Natasha was so popular, she was nominated twice! (Nomination 1) Natasha is a relatively new member of the Northwest and wow, has she made her presence known. Her ideas for show success and the future of TICA are fantastic and growing. She jumped into the Commencement Cat Club Show and marketed to the local area, resulting in the show's biggest gate to date! Her kids are well behaved and have stewarded at a bunch of shows and helped the raffles and even one little one stepped in and clerked!! I can't wait to see what Natasha and her family bring to this new show season. We're so lucky to have her here in the Northwest.
(Nomination 2)Natasha has been a huge help to many shows this year. She and her family have served the region faithfully at shows helping with vendors, Montioring gate entry and raffle ticket sales. To me personally she has assisted in running my cats at multiple shows so I could serve as clerk throughout the year. She is always willing to assist and suggest ideas to improve a show or solve a problem. Natahsa can be counted on in a pinch and is a huge blessing to our region.
